Day 301- A Year of Gratitude and Joy – Laugh ’til You Cry

When I was young, everyone knew my dad was always ready with a joke. Honestly, it wasn’t until I was in my teens I realized most of his jokes were the “groaner” kind. Somehow, though, until he passed away he always seemed to have a new joke at the ready, rarely repeating the same one over and over.

I miss those groan-inducing, eye-rolling “knee slappers” of my youth … but we live in a time where there is a readily available alternative: the internet. Choose your humor, plunk out a few letters and, “Voila,” a gut-busting joke appears on your screen to cheer you up or share with others. 

I am so grateful and filled with joy over humor … So today, I’m simply sharing a few of my favorites. I hope you laugh until you cry, your cheeks hurt and those nearby ask you what’s so funny!

There’s a whole world out there just waiting to be explored. Laugh it up along the way.
