Anyone who knows me well will tell you I am a really great online shopper. I can find bargains, discounts and, more importantly, those impossible-to-find items you just can’t seem to find anywhere. I love the hunt and am grateful for my ability to spend the time it takes to track down a new treasure.
I have an uncanny ability to find the right words to tell Google or Alexa how to track down those things that defy description. A few weeks ago I was trying to find replacement tips for the pliers I use to break glass after I score it. Those little tips were a doozy to find, but in the end, I figured out the right phrase and ended up with several options to choose from.
When my grocery store stopped stocking my favorite peanut butter, I turned to Amazon and, VOILA! Peanut butter delivered right to my door. Same for a case of toilet paper or paper towels – easy! Realize you forgot the laundry soap at the grocery store? No problem … Amazon to the rescue!

It’s not only the hard-to-find items. I turn to the internet when I know I would have to visit several stores to get everything done on my list. I simply sit down at my keyboard and start searching and filling my cart. Typically within two or three days I’m all stocked up without even starting up the car.

With the price of gas on a seemingly never-ending rise, I’m OK with waiting a day or two for my purchases while I float in my pool and save my gas. The cost of Amazon Prime seems like a better bargain almost daily. The convenience of being able to shop 24/7 from the comfort of your home makes it even better.
There’s a whole world out there just waiting to be explored. Save your time and energy for the fun stuff by shopping online.
