I feel a little like a butterfly coming out of a cocoon. I feel like I’m ready to flex my wings, warm and dry them in the sun and feast on all the world has to offer.
The COVID vaccine is not a magic bullet to normalcy. It’s not a cure. It’s not even a passport to the world. It MIGHT make it easier to travel.
Putting international travel on hold also means I’m planning several epic road trips.
Like terrorism, we have to respond cautiously to this threat.
You may be wondering, what does all of this have to do with travel? I mean, this is supposed to be a travel blog, right? Much of the country stayed home this year on a day that is renowned for packed roadways, crowded airports, and huge family gatherings.
